Starting as a community collaborative in 1999, the Twiggs County Chamber of Commerce, Inc. has now grown to full Chamber status with membership and benefits for area businesses and individuals who want to participate in community growth efforts. The Chamber of Commerce is now a member of the Georgia Chamber of Commerce, the Georgia Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (GACCE) and the Better Business Bureau of Middle Georgia. Our mission is to serve the Twiggs County business community by assisting existing companies and helping to bring in new business to the area. In 2010, Judy Sherling was named President of the Chamber in addition to her role as Executive Director of the Development Authority of Jeffersonville and Twiggs County. The office is open Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. except on holidays or when the staff is out making calls to help grow Twiggs County businesses.
